Extreme tiR Self Contained: A through-the-wall wine cellar cooling unit designed for simple installation.
The Extreme tiR series of through-the-wall wine cellar cooling systems uses the KDT Plus remote controller and thermostat. This means the controller and thermostat can be mounted outside the wine cellar – up to 50′ away. There are also special ducts available for purchase for both the evaporator and condenser.
NOTE: If mounting this wine cellar cooling unit on an exterior wall an exterior housing will be needed to protect the unit.
If this unit will be installed through an interior wall, the hot air exhaust may be redirected to another location using the condenser ducting plenum kit.
The BTU/h value is an estimated number based on many variables. A heat load calculation is needed to estimate the BTU/h value for your wine cellar.
To calculate your BTU/h, you will need the wine cellar dimensions, building materials used, such as glass, concrete, etc., physical and geographical location of your wine cellar and insulation value of the wine cellar.
